NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: 15 new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Jharsuguda including two vehicle drivers ( engaged for swab collection ) and a pharmacist who is currently working in Bagdihi Primary Health Cente. Earlier in the day time 8 positive cases were reported in the district. with these 15 new positive cases reported in the evening, the total number of positive cases reached 76 in the Jharsuguda district.
One Pharmacist tested positive for the deadly virus. The pharmacist is a 56 years old male and he is currently posted in Bagdihi primary health center in Kirmira block, He was returned from Bhubaneswar and his swab was taken on 20th of June and he is tested positive for COVID-19 on 23rd of June on Tuesday, The patient is an asymptomatic one, The positive case is taken to a dedicated COVID facility and contact tracing is in progress.
Two tempo drivers who are engaged for Swabs collection work in Khliakani community health center tested positive for deadly Coronavirus. Both the positive cases are identified as 42 years old male and 32 years old male. The swabs were collected on the 20th of June and tested positive on Tuesday 23rd of June. Both are under home quarantine. The case is an asymptomatic one. The patient is taken to a dedicated COVID facility. Contact tracing is in the progress.
Nine people who are under institutional quarantine in Ainlapali High School TMC in Kudopali gram panchayat were have tested positive for deadly COVID-19, all the 9 people are returned from Mumbai of Maharastra. The swabs were collected on the 20th of June. Tuesday 23rd of June all these 9 people have tested positive for COVID-19. These cases are asymptomatic. The cases are 24 years old female, 32 years old male, 2 years old female,7 years old female,11 years old female,13 years old female, 30 years old female,33 years old male and a 37 years old female. These patients belong from the Bundia colony. All these COVID-19 positive cases are taken to dedicated COVID-19 facilities for further treatment. Contact tracing is in the process.
One-year-old girl child from Deopan village of Kirmira block tested positive for COVID-19. As her family returned from Shehdol of Madhya Pradesh. The positive case and her parents are in-home quarantine after returning from Madhya Pradesh. The swabs were collected on the 20th of June. Tuesday 23rd of June all these 9 people have tested positive for COVID-19. The case is an asymptomatic one. All these COVID-19 positive cases are taken to dedicated COVID-19 facilities for further treatment. Contact tracing is in the process.
One seven years old boy tested positive in Kandihi village comes under the Machida Gram Panchayat of Lakhanpur block. The positive case returned his village with his parents from Raigarh of Chhatisgarh. He was under home quarantine. The swabs were collected on the 20th of June and tested positive on Tuesday 23rd of June. The case is an asymptomatic one. The patient is taken to a dedicated COVID facility. Contact tracing is in the process.
One 31-year-old male tested positive for COVID-19 in the Railway Colony containment zone in Belpahar, The case is symptomatic one and a local case. The patient is taken to a dedicated COVID facility and further contact tracing is in process, according to officials the positive case came in contact with the previous positive case detected in Belpahar railway colony area.
