Accident : Ash-Laden Truck hits biker, one dead

NFTV: Odisha : Jharsuguda: Ash-laden truck has hit a biker at Sanyasipali chowk under Kolabira police limit of Jharsuguda district killing one person. The seriously injured biker after being hit by the truck was dragged upto 200 metre. Later on the injured biker who was first taken to Kolabira CHC and then to a private nursing home at Jharsuguda where he succumbed to death while undergoing treatment. According to report this Kuchinda bound ash laden truck bearing vehicle number OD 23D 4881 after committing the accident, the driver has fled the place of accident. The deceased is identified as 60 years old Ajit Kumar Patel who was a retired pharmacist from Kolabira. The Kolabira police has registered a case and investigating the matter.
