Breaking News: Jharsuguda district reports 34 new COVID-19 positive cases

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Today Jharsuguda district reported 34 new COVID-19 positive cases. With the detection of these 34 COVID-19 positive cases, the number of positive cases reached 260 in the district. All the positive cases are asymptomatic. Confirmed by ADM, Jharsuguda

Cases from Raghunathpali containment zone area of Kolabira Block :

Case number 1 to 23: The positive cases are 55 female, 45 male, 44 female, 14 male,6 male,73 male,36 female,13 female, 29 female,2 male,53 female,25 female,44 female,17 female,12 male,48 female,74 male,72 female,16 female,11 male,35 female,45 female,12 male, 74 male,75 female and 18 male .all are from the Raghunathpali containment zone area. Swabs of these COVID-19 positive cases were taken on the 18th of July on the 21st of July these people tested positive. All the cases are asymptomatic and taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

Cases from Brajrajnagar Municipality:

Case number 24,25,26,27,28 and 29: The cases are 31 years male, 27 years old female, 36 years female, 2 years male, 14 years male, and 56 years female. All the cases are from Brajrajnagar and all are under quarantine, The cases are asymptomatic and Swabs of these COVID-19 positive cases were taken on the 18th of July on the 21st of July these people tested positive. All the cases are asymptomatic and taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

Cases from Lakhanpur Block:

Case number 30,31 and 32: One 21 years old male and one 43 years old male tested positive from BGR camp in Kudaloi, They are under quarantine at BGR camp. Meanwhile, one 24 years old female tested positive for COVID-19 she was returned from Cuttack and after her arrival in Adhapara village, she was under home quarantine. Swabs of these three cases were taken on the 18th of July and these three cases are tested positive on the 21st of July. All the cases are asymptomatic and taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

Cases from Laikera Block:

Case number 33 and 34: A 75 years old female and 18 years old male tested positive from Laikera containment zone area. Swabs of both the cases were taken on the 19th of July and both are tested positive on the 21st of July. Both the cases are asymptomatic and taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.
