Caught on camera: Bear attack in Bhawanipatna

NFTV:Odisha:Bhawanipatna: A wild bear entered a residential area of the Bhawanipatna town the district headquarter of Kalahandi district in Odisha, triggering panic among people after the wild bear attacked two-person on Friday, Seen In the video, the bear can be seen roaming in the locality while local people are trying to rescue the man who was under attack the bear by hitting the bear with sticks. Following the man-animal conflict, the Kalahandi forest department launched an operation to capture the bear and release it into the forest. Later, the forest department captured the Bear and taken it into the wild.

The Bear has suspected to have entered into the residential area in search of food. According to the DFO Northern, Kalahandi Nitish Kumar, the incident has happened for the second time in the area.”This is happening for the second time during my tenure, first was on August 15 and then it has happened today.
