Chilika MLA Prashanta Jagdev suspended from Biju Janata Dal

NFTV: Bhubaneswar: Controversial BJD MLA from Chilika Prasant Jagdev suspended from Biju Janata Dal,who beats up a BJP leder earlier on Wednesday.

Chief minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik issued an official order and stated that Prashant Kumar Jagdev, MLA of Chilika Assembly segment in Khurda district is suspended from BJD (Biju Janata Dal ) with immediate effect. Later on chief minister has also removed Prashant Jagdev from the post of District Planning Committee, Chairperson of Khurda district. Earlier in the day, However, no reason has been cited for suspension.

Earlier in the day a faceoff situation occurred between BJD and BJP while Balugaon Nagar BJP president Niranjan Sethi had gone to NAC office to inquire about the the work order to the Pradhan Manti Awas Yojana beneficiaries and when it will be distributed? A verbal spat occurred in that place and police asked Mr sethi to leave that office but Prashant Jagdev reached and started abusing and slapped him publically, alleges Niranjan Sethi.
