CM Odisha dedicated five stand alone COVID hospital

NFTV : Odisha: Bhubaneswar : Today Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated five standalone Odisha Covid Hospitals with combined bed capacity of 825, readied in record 30 days. The hospitals have been set up in Sundargarh ( NTPC medical college premises ), Bargarh, Angul, Jagatsinghpur & Nabarangpur, increasing the number of beds to 5000.

The hospitals will provide specialised treatment to COVID19 patients free of cost. CM thanked the Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Minister of Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi for their support to set up these hospitals.

Dedicating these hospitals, CM said that it is a war we have to win. CM appreciated the district administrations for setting up these hospital in record time and thanked NTPC, MCL, Indian Oil, Paradip Port and NALCO for their support.

While During the inauguration. the Union Ministers have assured to extend all kind of support to the state in its battle against coronavirus, said Das. Besides, as per the state Government’s direction, doctors and health workers engaged in the COVID-19 hospitals will be provided with PPE, food, accommodation and transportation facilities. All districts of the state will have the COVID-19 hospital in next few days, he added.

“With the right kind of roadmap prepared by CM Naveen Patnaik and support from the public, Odisha will soon get past this COVID-19 crisis,” said Health Minister Naba Kishore Das.
