Coronavirus: Complete Lockdown increased to 14 districts including Sambalpur and Jharsuguda

NFTV: Odisha:Bhubaneswar: Viewing the swift spread of Coronavirus ( COVID 19 ) in-country and To combat deadly virus, today Odisha government announced lockdown for nine more districts to battle the deadly COVID 19 pandemic. The districts are Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Puri, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur. Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Dhenkanal. The lockdown will come into effect The lockdown on 24th March from 7.00 AM till March 29th, 9 PM in the districts of Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Puri, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur. Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Dhenkanal.With this total 14 districts out of 30 districts under complete lockdown.

Currently, five district Khordha, Cuttack, Ganjam, Kendrapara, Angul and the nine cities are Puri, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Brajrajnagar, Balasore, Jajpur Road, Jajpur Town, and Bhadrak. With the enforcement of this lockdown these above districts, the railways’ stations, and bus stands have been removed from the exempted category.
