Coronavirus: COVID-19 patient number 44 died in Bhubaneswar , Odisha

NFTV: Odisha :Bhubaneswar: Covid positive Case No. 44

Patient was a resident of West Bengal, had previously been operated at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for pituitary tumor.

Recently he had come for follow up treatment to the same hospital, where he was detected as Covid positive.

After treatment, he was found negative for COVID-19 in 2 repeat tests.

Although he had recovered from COVID he could not be discharged due to his pre-existing other medical complaints.

He passed away this morning due to hypopituirism with septic shock & multi organ failure.
