NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: COVID Warrior Sub Inspector Raj Kishore Samad ( 39 ) today died due to COVID-19 at Jharsuguda COVID Hospital. He was posted in Badmal police station in Jharsuguda district as Sub Inspector. Late Mr. Samad was at the forefront of the battle against the deadly virus from the beginning of lockdown, and he was served sincerely till he was not got infected with COVID. He was admitted to Jharsuguda 17 of August after getting tested positive for COVID-19. He was got treated for 22 days in between these days the medical team tried hard and successfully conducted the plasma therapy but he couldn’t survive. Today morning Mr. Samad breathed his last.
Today officials of Jharsuguda district administration and police officials of the district including DM Jharsuguda Mr, Saroj Kumar Samal, SP Jharsuguda Mr, Rahul PR were present and from the family side wife, daughter, and mother of the fallen COVID Warrior were present. A one-minute silence prayer was offered and officials paid their homage to the fallen warrior Late Raj Kishore Samad at the cremation ground near H.Katapali.
