Eight new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Jharsuguda district

NFTV:Odisha: Jharsuguda: Eight new positive cases detected in Jharsuguda district. With the detection of these fresh cases, the total tally of positive cases reached 61 in the district. 5 positive cases are detected from the Brajrajnagar municipality, meanwhile, 3 cases detected from the Jharsuguda municipality. Confirmed by CDMO, Jharsuguda.

The positive cases from Brajrajnagar municipality, Five COVID-19 positive cases reported from OPM high school TMC. The cases are 30 years old female, 30 years old female, 10 years old female, 8 years old female, and 6 years old female. All these patients are returned to Brajrajnagar from Nalanda of Bihar on 15th of June by road in a Bolero SUV and put under institutional quarantine at OPM High School TMC. The swab were collected on the 19th of June and today on the 23rd of June all these people are tested positive for COVID-19. All the cases are asymptomatic. Contact tracing is under process.

The positive cases from Jharsuguda municipality, Three COVID-19 positive cases reported from Jharsuguda municipality. The positive cases are Two males and one female.

The first positive is a 25 years old male who returned to Jharsuguda from New Delhi on the 14th of June by flight and he was in paid quarantine at Hotel Shankar in Beheramal. His swab was collected on the 19th of June on Tuesday he is tested positive for COVID-19. The positive case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is in the process.

The second positive case is a 28 years old male and he was returned to Jharsuguda from Raigad district of Maharastra on the 15th of June. After his returned to Jharsuguda,he was in paid quarantine at Hotel Shankar in Beheramal. His swab was collected on the 19th of June on Tuesday he is tested positive for COVID-19. The positive case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is in the process.

The Third case is a 27 years old female, The patient has been returned to Jharsuguda from Jaipur of Rajasthan via New Delhi 14th June by flight. She was in-home quarantine in Ekatali of Jharsuguda. Her swab was collected on the 19th of June and on the 23rd of June Tuesday she is tested positive for COVID-19. The positive case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is in process.
