Eight new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Jharsuguda district, tally reached to 128

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Eight new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the Jharsuguda district. With the detection of these positive cases tally reached 128 in the district. Meanwhile, the COVID case is asymptomatic. Confirmed by ADM, Jharsuguda.

Five positive cases are detected from Belpahar Municipality, Two positive are detected from Jharsuguda Municipality and One positive case is detected from Brajrajnagar Municipality.

The positive cases are from Belpahar Municipality, all detected from Ladies hostel quarantine center, the First case is a 26 years old male and he was returned from Telangana on the23rd of June. The positive case was under institutional quarantine at Belpahar college ladies hostel TMC. his swab was collected on the 30th of June on the 3rd of July he is tested positive for COVID-19 and taken to dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. The case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is under progress.

The second case is a 26 years old female and she was returned from West Bengal on the28th of June. The positive case was under institutional quarantine at Belpahar college ladies hostel TMC. his swab was collected on the 1st of July on the 3rd of July she is tested positive for COVID-19 and taken to dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. The case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is under progress.

The third case is 33 years old female and the fourth case is a 1-year-old girl child both belong to a single-family, both are contact of a previous case. Both are under institutional quarantine at Belpahar college ladies hostel TMC . On the 1st of July, swabs were collected on the 3rd of July both the patients are tested positive for COVID-19. The cases are asymptomatic. Both the patients are taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is under progress.

The fifth case is a 52 years old male. The positive case is the contact of a previous case. and he is under institutional quarantine at Belpahar college ladies hostel TMC. On the 1st of July, the swab was collected on the 3rd of July the patient is tested positive for COVID-19. The case is asymptomatic. Contact tracing is under progress. The patient is taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment.

The COVID-19 positive cases from Brajrajnagar Municipality, Sixth cases, the positive case is a 26 years old male and he was returned from Maharastra on the 19th of June. The positive case was in-home quarantine his IB PIT residence in Brajrajanagar. his swab was collected on the 1st of July on the 3rd of July he is tested positive for COVID-19 and taken to dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. The case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is under progress.

The two positive cases are from Jharsuguda Municipality, The Seventh is a 28 years old male detected from Jharsuguda COVID Care Center, Jharsuguda. The positive case is ODRAF personnel and he was returned from post-cyclone Amphan rescue and restoration operation in West Bengal. He was under institutional quarantine in COVID care center after his arrival on the 30th of June his swab was collected and on the 3rd of July, he is tested positive for COVID-19. The case is an asymptomatic one.

The Eight positive case is a 59 years old female, the positive case was under institutional quarantine at Vedanta trainee hostel, Her swab was collected on the 1st of July and she has been tested positive for COVID-19 on the 3rd of July. The case is an asymptomatic one and she is taken to dedicated COVID facility for further treatment.
