As per the latest temperature recorded by IMD Odisha at 8:30 AM Sunday, Sonepur 2.4 degree Celcius Daringbadi known as Kashmir of Odisha recorded a minimum temperature of 5.5 Degrees Celsius, Phulbani 5, Angul 4.6, Titlagarh 6.1, Bhawanipatna 6.5, Keonjhar 6.6, Jharsuguda 7.3 and Sambalpur 7.4, Balasore 8.6, Cuttack 8.8, Baripada 9, Sundargarh 9, Balangir 8, Koraput 9.6, and Bhubaneswar 10.2 Degree Celcius.
Ground frost was witnessed in various areas of Jharsuguda Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Bargarh and Kandhamal districts. Odisha government has put district collectors on high alert over the cold wave conditions and asked them to ensure that people are protected from the severe cold
