NFTV:Odisha:Sambalpur: Five new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Sambalpur district. With the detection of these new cases the number of positive cases reached 23 in the district. These are the positive cases reported today.
1-The case is 20 years male, returnee from Gujrat, returned on 02.06.2020. Since his arrival to Sambalpur, he was staying in Govt institutional quarantine facility at Degree College, Keseibahal, under Bamra block.
He is asymptomatic. He is being shifted to dedicated Covid facility. Contact tracing is under progress.
2- 32 years Male, returnee from Maharashtra, returned on 1.6.2020. Since his arrival to Sambalpur he was staying in Govt institutional quarantine facility at Degree college, Keseibahal, under Bamra block. He is asymptomatic. He is being shifted to dedicated Covid facility. Contact tracing is under progress.
3- 41 years Male, returnee from Gujrat. Returned on 31.5.2020. Since his arrival to Sambalpur he was staying in Govt institutional quarantine facility at Sundhimunda Kanyasharam under Rairakhol block. He is asymptomatic. He is being shifted to dedicated Covid facility. Contact tracing is under progress.
4- 18 years male, contact case. He was staying in Govt institutional quarantine facility at Kukudabahali under Rairakhol block. He is asymptomatic. He is being shifted to dedicated Covid facility. Contact tracing is under progress.
5- 21 years Female, returnee from Russia. Returned on 3.6.2020. Since her arrival to Sambalpur she was in Home Quarantine in SMC area. She is asymptomatic. She is being shifted to dedicated Covid facility. Contact tracing is under progress.
