Four new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Jharsuguda, 2 in Brajrajnagar and 2 in Jharsuguda

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda:  Four new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the Jharsuguda district. The COVID-19 positive cases are from Brajnagar and Jharsuguda. With the detection of the positive case tally reached to 108 in the district.Meanwhile, the COVID case is asymptomatic. Confirmed by CDMO, Jharsuguda.

Positive cases from Jharsuguda: One male aged about 40 years tested positive for COVID-19. On the 15th of June, the positive case came back to Jharsuguda from Aligarh via New Delhi by flight. He was under paid quarantine at Shankar Hotel in Jharsuguda. His swab was collected on the 27th of June and on Tuesday the 3oth of June, he has been tested positive for the deadly virus and the patient is an asymptomatic one. The positive case has been taken to a dedicated COVID facility, meanwhile, contact tracing is in the progress.

The second case from Jharsuguda is a 29 years old male and he was returned from Ganjam to Odisha on the 12th of June. He was under paid quarantine at Hotel Shankar in Beheramal, Jharsuguda. His swab was collected on the 27th of June and on Tuesday the 3oth of June, he has been tested positive for the deadly virus and the patient is an asymptomatic one. The positive case has been taken to a dedicated COVID facility, meanwhile, contact tracing is in the progress.

The positive cases are from Brajrajnagar: Two COVID-19 positive cases are reported from Brajranagar. The positive cases are a two years old girl and a four years old boy. On 15th June both the positive cases are returned to Brajrajnagar of Jharsuguda district from New Delhi by flight with their parents. After returning to Brajrajnagar they were under institutional quarantine at Black Diamond school TMC. Swabs were collected on the 27th of June and on Tuesday the 3oth of June, he has been tested positive for the deadly virus and the patient is an asymptomatic one. The positive case has been taken to a dedicated COVID facility, meanwhile, contact tracing is in the progress.
