NFTV:Odisha: Jharsuguda: Four new COVID-19 positive cases detected in the Jharsuguda district. With the detection of these four positive cases tally reached to 80 in Jharsuguda district. Meanwhile, Three positive cases detected in Jharsuguda town, and one case is from Belpahar.Confirmed by CDMO,Jharsuguda.
Three cases reported in Jharsuguda town are a 38 years old male, a 30 years old female, and a 7 years old boy chile. All are from a single-family and they were returned to Jharsuguda from Kolkata on the 16th of June by flight. After the arrival at Jharsuguda, all are under home quarantine at their resident in Mishra talkies gully locality. On 21th of June medical team collected swabs of these three people and on the 25th of June all three are tested positive for COVID-19. all three cases are asymptomatic. All the positive cases are taken to a dedicated COVID facility. As well as contact tracing is in the progress.
The fourth positive case is a 30 years old male, he was returned to Belpahar from Pune via Bhubaneswar, First, he came to Pune by boarding into Konark express and from Bhubaneswar he came to Belpahar by car on 16th of June. The COVID-19 positive case is under institutional quarantine at Bibekananda International School TMC in Belpahar. On 21th of June medical collected swabs for the COVID test on the 25th of June, he is tested positive for COVID-19. The case is an asymptomatic one. He was taken to a dedicated COVID facility and contact tracing on the progress.
