Guidelines for observance of Nuakhai and Ganesh Puja issued by Jharsuguda district administration

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda:Today Jharsuguda district administration issued guidelines for the observance of Ganesh Puja and Western Odisha’s Gana para Nuakhai with some restriction in view of Corona pandemic. The restriction imposed by Administration. There will be no observance of Ganesh Puja at any public place nor people in the group will be allowed to throng any place of worship of Lord Ganesha. Similarly there will be no public celebration nor the-ghat at public place on the day of Nuakhai 2020. Puja of the deity on the day of Ganesh Chaturthee and observance of Nuakhai will remain private affair and be performed at households only. Such performances again will be limited to immediate family members. Rituals will be performed at temples by the priests, concerned preceding, post and on the days of both the festivals.
