NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda district administration on Thursday imposed 72 hours shutdown in areas Four Gram Panchayat of Kirmira block including Jharmunda Gram Panchayat and parts of three adjacent Gram Panchayat Bhimjore Gram Panchayat, G.Panpali Gram Panchayat and Naxapali Gram Panchayat. The shutdown will be ended on 27-06-2020 up to 9 PM. The villages are Jharmunda, Telidihi, Charmradihi, Barpan, Baijpali and Kuluthmal in Jharmunda Gram panchayat.In Bhimjore Gram Panchayat the villages are Handatupa,Bhimjore and Bhunra. In G.Panpali Gram Panchayat, the villages are Sarasmal, Tunbadihi, In Naxapali GP, the villages are Rangiatikra, Ucchkabahal of Naxapali revenue village area. Meanwhile, earlier on Wednesday, the sarpanch of Jharmunda GP has imposed shutdown in the entire Jharmunda GP area, after the pharmacist of Bagdihi primary health center tested positive for COVID-19. The pharmacist came back from Bhubaneswar and attended patients in the PHC and treated them as well as he had visited nearby villages and treated people also. In the period there will be door to door active surveillance of all the families of these areas, Compulsory home and institutional isolation whenever needed. There will be no in and out movement that will be allowed in the shutdown area apart from essential commodity.
