NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda district crosses 300 COVID-19 positive cases mark with the detection of 12 new cases. With the detection of these 12 COVID-19 positive cases, the number of positive cases reached 303 in the district. Confirmed by ADMO, Jharsuguda.
The cases are detected from 7 from Raghunathpali of Kolabira Block, 4 from Bidmal of Kirmira Block, and 1 from Jharsuguda Municipality.
The cases from Raghunathpali containment zone area: One 49 years old male, one 78 years old female, one 65 years old male, one 20 years old male, one 59 years old male, one 45 years old male, and one 60 years old female. All the positive cases are contact cases of a previous case and out 7 people 6 are under institutional quarantine at Rghunathpali TMC. Meanwhile, 60 years old female was under home quarantine. All the cases are asymptomatic. All the positive cases are taken to dedicated COVID facilities and the contact tracing is in progress.
The cases from Bidmal of Kirmira Block: One 45 years old female, one 27 years old male, one 18 years old female and one 60 years old female. All the positive cases are local cases and contact cases of a previous case. All the cases are asymptomatic. All the positive cases are taken to dedicated COVID facilities and the contact tracing is in progress.
The case from Jharsuguda Municipality: A 17 years old male tested positive from Sarbahal TMC, The positive case was returned to Jharusuguda from West Bengal and he was under institutional quarantine in Sarbahal TMC. The case is an asymptomatic one and taken to a dedicated COVID facility. Contact tracing is in progress. The swabs of all these positive cases are collected on the 25 and 26th of the July.
