Jharsuguda district reported 11 new COVID-19 positive cases, tally reaches 176

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Today Jharsuguda district reported 11 new COVID-19 positive cases. With the detection of these 11 COVID-19 positive cases, the number of positive cases reached 176 in the district. All the positive cases are asymptomatic.

The positive cases are :

The first case is a 48 years old male from Raghunathpali of Kolabira block, The case was returned from Bhubaneswar on the 3rd of July. He was under home quarantine after his return from Bhubaneswar by car. The swab of the positive case was collected on the 9th of July, he is tested positive for COVID-19 on the 12th of July. He is has taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

The second positive case is a 49 years old female from Raghunathpali of Kolabira block, She was returned from Jamshedpur of Jharkhand to Raghunathpali on the 6th of July. After she returned from Jamshedpur she was under institutional quarantine at Raghunathpali High School TMC. The swab of the positive case was collected on the 9th of July, she is tested positive for COVID-19 on the 12th of July. She is has taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

The third case is 19 years old male, he was returned from Andhra Pradesh by train on the 24th of June, He was under home quarantine at his Babuabagicha residence. The swab of the positive case was collected on the 9th of July, he is tested positive for COVID-19 on the 12th of July. He is has taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eight positive cases. All the positive cases are members of a single-family, They were returned to Ekatali from Bhagalpur of Bihar by using a Bolero SUV. After their arrival at Jharsuguda, they are under institutional quarantine at Jharianal TMC. The positive cases are a 40 years old male. 35 years old female, 22 years old female, 1-year-old girl chile, and 12 years old male. The swab of the positive cases was collected on the 9th of July, On the 12th of July all the swabs tested positive for COVID-19. All the positive cases are taken to dedicated COVID facility and contact tracing is in progress.

Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh positive cases. The positive cases were returned to Bandhabahal on 4th of July from Aska of Ganjam district. They were under institutional quarantine at Bandhabahal High School TMC. The patients are a 43 years old male, 33 old female,and a 12 years old female. The swab of the positive cases was collected on the 9th of July, On the 12th of July all the swabs tested positive for COVID-19. All the positive cases are taken to dedicated COVID facility and contact tracing is in progress.
