Jharsuguda district reports 7 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, tally reaches 310

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda district reports 7 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. With the detection of these 12 COVID-19 positive cases, the number of positive cases reached 310 in the district. Acccording to the department of I & PR.

Cases from Jharsuguda Municipality:

Case number 1 and 2: A 33 years old male and a 3 years old boy child tested positive for COVID-19. They were returned to Jharsuguda from the Ganjam district. After their arrival at Jharsuguda both, the cases are under paid quarantine at Hotel Pal Height. Both the cases are asymptomatic and their swabs were taken on the 26th of July. Both the cases are taken to a dedicated COVID facility. Contact tracing is in progress.

Case Number 3: A 38 years old male tested positive for COVID-19. The positive case was returned to Jharsuguda from the Khordha district. After his arrival at Jharsuguda, the cases was under paid quarantine at Konark. The positive case is an asymptomatic and his swabs were taken on the 26th of July. The positive case has been taken to a dedicated COVID facility. Contact tracing is in progress.

Cases from Kolabira Block:

Case Number 4,5,6 and 7: The cases are detected from Patadihi village of Kolabira Block. The cases are a 31 years old male, 27 years female, 25 years old female, and a 20 years old female. All the cases are contact cases of a previous case and traced during the contact tracing and all are asymptomatic. Swabs were taken on the 27th of July. The positive cases are taken to a dedicated COVID facility. Contact tracing is in progress.
