Migrant worker dies inside the bus while returning from Surat in Lakhanpur block

NFTV: Odisha: Jharsuguda: One migrant worker died near Punjipathar comes under Lakhanpur police limit in Jharsuguda district last night. The deceased migrant worker is identified as Bhaskar Nahak ( 57 ) and a resident of Aska in Ganjam district. According to Brajrajnagar SDPO, A special bus carrying migrant workers from Surat of Gujarat started its journey for Aska of Ganjam in Odisha. While the bus reached Punjipathar chak on NH 49 in Lakhanpur police limit other passengers reported that one person has died. Later Brajrajnagar SDPO Dilip Das and Lakhanpur IIC Baikuntha Bihari Seth reached the spot and with taking all the precautionary measures rescued the body and sent it to Jharsuguda DHH for Post mortem. meanwhile, the reason behind the death is unknow, the swab test of the deceased to be conducted by medical team as he was returning from one of the worst COVID hit state Gujarat.
