One COVID-19 patient died during treatment in Jharsuguda COVID Hospital

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: One COVID-19 patient died while undergoing treatment in Jharsuguda COVID Hospital on Tuesday. The deceased is identified as one 46 years old male from the Kujimal village comes under the Jharmunda GP in Kirmira Block of Jharsuguda district. After getting tested positive for the deadly virus the deceased was admitted to Jharsuguda COVID Hospital and he was under observation of the medical. While undergoing treatment his health condition deteriorated and he was put on the ventilator and later plasma therapy also conducted by the medical team but the patient couldn’t recover. Today while undergoing treatment the patient breathes his last. According to the COVID-19 guideline, his cremation was done by the health department in Jharsuguda, informed by DM, Jharsuguda Mr.Saroj Kumar Samal. Earlier on July 23, one 74 years old male COVID-19 patient from Raghunathpali of Kolabira Block in Jharsuguda district died at Hi-Tech COVID hospital in Rourkela. With this death, the COVID death toll reaches two in the district.
