Sarpanch imposed shutdown in entire Jharmunda GP of Jharsuguda district after pharmacist tested positive for COVID-19

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Sarpanch of Jharmunda gram panchayat comes under the Kirmira block of Jharsuguda district today imposed a seven-day shutdown in entire Jharmunda panchayat, after pharmacist of Bagdihi primary health center tested positive for COVID-19.

As per the sarpanch Natwar Agrawal’s statement ” we are taken the decision to impose shutdown in entire Jharmunda panchayat after the pharmacist who was posted in Bagdihi PHC has been tested COVID-19 positive. He came back from Bhubaneswar and attended around 200 patients in the PHC and treated them as well as he had visited nearby villages and treated people also. we have imposed a seven days shutdown in the Jharmunda GP area, meanwhile, grocery shops will be open from 8 am to 10 am and Medicine stores will be open from morning 7 am to till evening.

We are requesting people who have come in contact with the pharmacist please come out voluntarily for swab testing, Sarpanch Jharmunda Natwar Agarwal says .
