NFTV:Odisha:Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and Tirtol MLA Bishnu Charan Das passed away. Mr. Das was hospitalized on June 22nd in Bhubaneswar after he suffered a brain stroke. The senior politician, who was in the ICU of the Apollo Hospital (Bhubaneswar) has passed away at 7:50 PM today evening. Mr. Das was elected to six to Odisha legislative assembly and he was also elected to Rajya Sabha in the year 2016. He was one of the prominent Dalit face of Odisha politics.
Odisha CM Naveen Pattnaik condoles the death of Mr. Das along with him the leader of other political partys paid their last respect to the departed leader.
