Six new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Jharsuguda district, tally reaches 182

NFTV:Odisha:Jharsuguda: Six new COVID-19 positive cases detected in the Jharsuguda district. With the detection of these Six COVID-19 positive cases, the number of positive cases reached 182 in the district. All the positive cases are asymptomatic. Confirmed by ADM, Jharsuguda.

The positive cases are :

The first and second cases are, a 32 years old male and 26 years old female were returned from Rajgangpur of Sundargarh district on the 6th of July. They were under institutional quarantine at Vivekananda international school TMC in Belpahar after their arrival. Swabs of these positive cases were collected on the 10th of July, Both of them tested positive for COVID-19 on the 13th of July. Both the patients are taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

The third and fourth cases are, Both the patients are identified as 30 years old male, on the 7th of July both were returned to Belpahar from Gaya of Bihar. They were under institutional quarantine at Vivekananda international school TMC in Belpahar after their arrival. Their swabs of thes positive cases were collected on the 10th of July, Both of them tested positive for COVID-19 on the 13th of July. Both the patients are taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

The fifth case is, a 47 years old male, The positive case was traveled to telkoi block of Keonjhar district and returned to Luhurapada of Belpahar on 2nd of July by using a Bolero SUV. He was stayed in Luhurapada by hiding his travel history. On 7th of June Belpahar municipality and health official took him to the Vivekananda international school TMC. On the 10th of July, his swabs were collected for the COVID test. On the 13th of July, the person tested positive for COVID-19. The case is an asymptomatic one and taken to a dedicated COVID facility for further treatment. Contact tracing is in progress.

The sixth case is, a 21 years old female, she was returned to Banharpali with her husband from Korba of Chhattisgarh. She was under institutional quarantine after her arrival. On the 10th of July, her swabs were collected for the COVID test. On the 13th of July, she tested positive for COVID-19 and later she was taken to a dedicated COVID facility. The case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is in progress.
