Ten new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Jharsuguda district, tally reached to 118

NFTV:Odisha: Jharsuguda: Today 10 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the Jharsuguda district. With the detection of the positive case tally reached to 118 in the district. Meanwhile, the COVID case is asymptomatic. Confirmed by ADM, Jharsuguda.

The positive cases are: Two people of a family tested positive for COVID-19, The two positive cases returned to Jharsuguda from Mumbai by train on the 25th of June, after returning to Jharsuguda they are under institutional quarantine in Hasamura Kantapali TMC. On the 28th of June swabs were collected for the COVID test on July first two-person are tested positive for COVID-19. The patient are one 30 years old female and a 23 years old female. Both poses are asymptomatic and contact tracing in the progress.

The third COVID-19 positive case is a 35 yeas old male, On the 17th of June, the patient was returned to Belpahar from Delhi by train. He was put under institutional quarantine at Bibekananda International School TMC in Belpahar. His swab was taken on the 24th of June and he was tested negative in the first COVID test. Meanwhile, One Mumbai returnee from the same TMC was tested positive for COVID-19 on June 27th. After the detection of the positive case, the health department decided to take the swab for the second test on the 28th of June, on the 1st of July the 35 years old person tested positive. The positive case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is in the progress.

The fourth case is a 60 years old male person tested positive for COVID-19 and he was working under a company inside Vedanta. On the 25th of June, he was returned to Jharsuguda from Kolkata by flight. After his return to Jharsuguda, he was in paid quarantine at Hotel Meghdoot in main road Jharsuguda. His swab was taken on the 28th of June and on the 1st of July he was tested positive for COVID-19. The positive case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is in progress.

The fifth COVID-19 positive case is a 29 years old male from main road Jharsuguda, He was returned to Jharsuguda from Mumbai on the 17th of June by flight. After returning to Jharsuguda he was under home quarantine at his main road residence. On the 28th of June, his swab was taken for the COVID test and he was tested positive for the deadly virus on 1st of July. The patient is an asymptomatic one Contact tracing in the progress.

The sixth positive case is from Thungiadera of Belpahar and the positive case is a 30 years old male and the positive contractual labour came to Thungiadera with other labourers in a Bolero on 24th of June, to a work in a project. He was under quarantine at the labour camp. On the 1st of July, he is tested positive for COVID-19. The case is an asymptomatic one. Contact tracing is in progress.

The seventh and eight positive cases are a 70 years old female and a 5 years old boy from Telenpali of Lakhanpur block. On 24th of the June, They were returned to Telenpali from Ganjam district by road by hiring a taxi, and after returning to Telenpali they are under home quarantine at their residence. on the 1st of July, swab test of the 70 years olf female and 5 years old boy tested positive. Both the cases are asymptomatic and contact tracing is in the progress.

The ninth cases is a 26 years old male and he was returned from Ghaziabad to Brajnagar, and he was under institutional quarantine at Surabhi club TMC. On the 1st of July, his swab tested positive for Coronavirus. The positive case is an asymptomatic one and the contact tracing is in progress.

The tenth case is a 33 years old male he was returned to Bandhbahal on 24th of June by train. He was under quarantine at the hostel of Global coal mining company and he is tested positive on the 1st of July for COVID-19. The patient is an asymptomatic one and contact tracing is in progress. Meanwhile, all the 10 positive cases are taken to dedicated COVID facilities for further treatment.
