Three workers seriously injured in OPGC IB Thermal after the ESP hopper of UNIT-3 broke down

NFTV: Odisha:Jharsuguda: The workers serious burn injuries after the ESP hopper of Unit-3 of OPGC IB Thermal brokes. meanwhile, in the time of the accident, many workers working there near the hopper but three are seriously got burn injuries after the hot liquified fly ash fell into them. The workers are identified as Akash Khamari of Telenpali Village, Hrushikesh Karta of Remanda, and P.Bhagban Patra from Ganjam district. All the three workers are rescued by co-workers and taken to the OPGC Hospital in Banharpali, later all three are referred to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. The biggest concern is in April 2019 the UNIT-3 and 4 comprising ( 660 X 2 ) MW units but after a mere one and a half years, Unit number 3 has suffered a big accident like this, in which the hopper broke down. The incident put a question mark on the erection of the two units.
