Traffic rule violator fined Rupees 43k in Sambalpur, Odisha

NFTV:Odisha:Sambalpur: Enforcement of new Motor Vehicle Act in Odisha, starting hurting traffic violators. Today may be the fined imposed on a scooter owner is costing nearing to his scooter. Sambalpur traffic police fined rupees 43,000 to a scooter owner after his minor son caught riding the scooter.

According to reports, a minor boy named Baris Singh intercepted by Sambalpur traffic police at Lakshmi talkies chhak while riding a scooter without wearing a helmet. The scooter is owned by his father Bijay Singh, Sambalpur Traffic police slapped him a huge fine of 43,000 rupees . Riding without having a Driving Licence while the vehicle lacked Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate and insurance. A fine of Rs 25,000 was slapped on the vehicle owner for allowing a minor to ride it, Rs 5,000 for driving without DL, Rs 10,000 for lacking PUCC, Rs 1,000 for driving without wearing a helmet and Rs 2,000 for lacking insurance.

While another owner fined 37,000 rupees of fine for violating traffic rules, the owner is identified as Krishna Pradhan of Gol Bazar locality of Sambalpur town. The vehicle is intercepted by DSP traffic, Sambalpur. The owner slapped 37,000 rupees. Driving without DL 5000 Rupees. Driving Dangerously 5000 Rupees. Morethan two-person riding a two-wheeler 1000 rupees. Riding without helmet 1000 rupees. Offences by juvenile 25000 Rupees.
