Two killed as trainer aircraft crashes in Dhenkanal of Odisha

NFTV:Odisha:Dhenkanal: Two persons died as a trainer aircraft crashed in Birasala airstrip in the Dhenkanal district of Odisha. The deceased have been identified as Captain Sanjiv Kumar Jha hails from Bihar, he has piloted the aircraft another trainee pilot identified as Anis Fatima she hailed from Tamil Nadu state. The incident took place when the flight training operation was underway near the airstrip. The Government Aviation Training Institute (GATI)-run aircraft crash-landed just moments after taking off around 6.30 am today morning. Both the onboard pilot and trainee received grievous injuries and they were taken to the Kamakhyanagar hospital, where a doctor declared both them dead. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. meanwhile, the reason behind the crash is under investigation.
