NFTV:Odisha: Sambalpur: Authorities of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) decided to close the university for 5 days after many employees of the university tested positive for COVID-19.
As per the order, the VSSUT will be closed till July 8th. However, all the employees have been instructed not to leave the headquarters.
“In pursuance to COVID-19 rule, the university will remain closed till July 8th for evolved COVID contamination situation. Further, all are instructed to remain in the headquarter, failing which disciplinary proceeding as per OCS (CC&A) rules 1962 as well as penalty will be imposed,” the VSSUT stated in a notification yesterday.
